Amber was in college when she was first introduced to a physician assistant by her brother, a resident physician at the time. After observing many different physician assistants, she felt this would be a perfect fit since she could combine caring for others with her fascination with biology, anatomy, and physiology. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas. She continued to get her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2015. After graduating, Amber took her passion and skills to a family practice, where she was a provider for seven years.
At Live Young Wellness Spa, Amber provides bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for patients. After many years in family practice, she recognizes the profound impact mismanaged hormones can have on numerous aspects of patients’ lives. When indicated, bioidentical hormone replacement can improve patients’ mood, sleep, energy, libido, and more.
Amber also performs injectables such as Botox, Kybella, and fillers. She always strives to develop her skills further and deepen her knowledge by attending training, seminars, and educational conferences.
Outside caring for patients, Amber enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children. Her ultimate goal is to create healthy, physically and mentally healthy lives for her family and her patients. She will always do her best to help patients look and feel the best version of themselves.
