As the holidays get closer, we begin thinking about gifts ideas for those close to us and acts of kindness to make people feel loved. At Live Young Wellness Spa, we wanted to help make a difference to those who are struggling during this time and might not have the luxury of enjoying Christmas at home. Over the years we have partnered with the Sadie Keller Foundation as a drop-off location for Sadie’s Sleigh, a toy drive created for children and teens battling cancer with hope to bring them joy. This year, we are excited that all our Live Young Wellness Spa locations across the Dallas Fort Worth area will be a drop-off location for Sadie’s Sleigh from November 7th-December 13th.
What is Sadie’s Sleigh?
Sadie’s Sleigh is a toy drive that was started in 2015 by Sadie Keller, who was just seven years old at the time. After being diagnosed with leukemia, Sadie realized how difficult it was for kids to spend Christmas in the hospital. She wanted to do something to make children’s holidays brighter, which sparked the idea of Sadie’s Sleigh.
With the support of her family, Sadie launched the toy drive, and since then, it has grown exponentially. To date, tens of thousands of toys have been donated to pediatric oncology patients across North Texas, Texas at large, and even in places like Florida, Chicago, and Philadelphia. This incredible initiative ensures that children undergoing cancer treatment don’t miss out on the joy and magic of the holiday season, despite the challenging circumstances they face.
How You Can Help
At Live Young Wellness Spa, we are proud to support Sadie’s mission by serving as a drop-off location for this year’s toy drive. We invite you to be a part of this beautiful cause by donating new, unwrapped toys for children and teens who are spending their holidays in the hospital. Your generous donations will help bring smiles and joy to these brave young warriors!
Donation Details
What to Donate: New, unwrapped toys for kids and teens of all ages. Popular items include games, art supplies, puzzles, stuffed animals, action figures, and other fun gifts.
Where to Donate: Drop off your donations at any of our Live Young Wellness Spa locations: Flower Mound, Castle Hills, Allen, Prosper, or Argyle! We will have a box located in the office lobby where you can leave your unwrapped toys!
Deadline: Donations will be accepted until December 13th, please donate any time now until then to ensure they are delivered to the children in time for Christmas.

Childhood cancer is a battle no family should have to experience, and spending the holidays in the hospital can make it even more depressing. For these children and their families, a simple act of kindness—a toy, a game, or even a small gift—can light up someone’s Christmas and give them hope during this difficult time.
